Man of the Match: Theo Walcott This game was lost before Theo Walcott came on for the disappointing James Milner. A goal from the edge of the box, and then a fine run which created the winner.
Sweden verdict: After an abysmal first half they looked a completely different side after the break. But despite that, just like against Ukraine in their opening match, they threw away a lead to lose.
England verdict: In control in the first half, they capitulated after the break with some horrific defending. They were lucky that the introduction of Theo Walcott turned the game back in their favour, but make no mistake better sides than Sweden will make light work of this side.
Could do better: James Milner For the second game in a row, Milner looked more of a liability than an asset. One good first-half cross apart, Milner looked leggy, despite playing less football than most in the final weeks of the season. He will be lucky to get another chance against Ukraine.
Stat attack: England scored three goals in a tournament game for the first time since beating Croatia 4-2 at Euro 2004.
